OWLS is committed to supporting all women coming out into our lesbian community
We are a social group for lesbians situated in Brisbane, Australia.
We offer a wide range of events and activities over the year.
These include a monthly get together for breakfast where we enjoy a meal and a chat.
We also enjoy regular dances and outings.
Women identifying as lesbians are welcome to join our club but you must be 35 years or over

SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
At the AGM
held on 25 March 2012 a motion was passed authorizing the Committee to investigate
the steps necessary to dissolve OWLS Women’s Social Club Incorporated. This
investigation is now complete. In accordance with the constitution, a Special
General Meeting will be held at 10:30am on Sunday June 3 2012. Please call 0447 401 061 for venue details.
The motions
to be discussed and voted upon are:
[1] That
OWLS Women’s Social Club Incorporated be dissolved.
[2] That
OWLS Social Group be formed and a planning group to coordinate social events be
appointed.
[3]That
funds currently banked in the name of OWLS Women’s Social Club Inc. be released
and deposited in a new account in the name of OWLS Social Group.
[4]That
there be 3 signatures required for the
new account, any 2 of whom are authorized to sign on behalf of the group, said
signatories to change annually.
